About
I have been accepted as a grad student at DePaul University in Chicago, IL. I’m studying video games and computer graphics, and I aim to work with a game development company in the US post graduation.
To that end, this blog will serve me two purposes. The first one is to serve as an educational tool for myself, and for anyone else who’s interested in using it. There are many different websites online that talk about aspects of game development, but I feel like no one is doing a very good job of bringing it all together into a cohesive whole. My hope here is to catalog the resources I use to learn, and then post the work I’m doing to apply that knowledge. It is rare to see these two resources online in the same place.
The other use for this site is to serve as a portfolio, to show off the work I have done. Game programming and development is a competitive field, and I want to have a public repository of everything I have created. If you are a recruiter or resume reader who has come here from materials I gave you, I’m very proud of everything on this site. It’s the culmination of everything I have worked on up to this point.
Game development has interested me my whole life, and I’m thrilled to be able to put everything together that I have learned. I hope you find this site useful too.
